InsurED is a pioneering, hybrid social enterprise dedicated to transforming infrastructure resilience in education and healthcare across Nigeria. By embedding a preventive maintenance culture into public facilities, InsurED safeguards classrooms and primary health centers from neglect and decay, ensuring that children can learn, and communities can access care, in safe, functional spaces.
Using our innovative Renovate–Maintain–Transfer (RMT) framework, we manage a phased approach that blends funding from impact investors, donors, CSR initiatives and upfront commitment from government. Throughout this journey, we employ tech-enabled monitoring, community-led oversight, and quarterly maintenance to deliver measurable infrastructure outcomes.
Our Story
Founded by education and development advocate Mohammed Sabo Keana, InsurED emerged from years of frontline work in communities where children learned under trees and mothers delivered babies in dark, crumbling buildings. We’re proving that with the right systems and partnerships, we can fix what’s broken—permanently.
